DAS is a new 2D automatic digitizing system, which combines digital photography technology with advanced contour detection software.

FROM DESIGN TO PROTOTYPE
DAS is a new 2D automatic digitizing system, which simplifies and speeds up the work of the designer, combining digital photography technology and advanced contour detection software. The system involves the use of a series of hardware to respond to various problems such as the capturing of small and large objects, the capturing of fabrics. The DAS system generates a series of files that can be imported into the most common 2D CAD, printable and able to be cut by large plotters.
SYSTEM STRUCTURE
DAS consists of a camera or a digital scanner, a structure of various dimensions, and a digitizing VECT software developed in .Net for Windows operating system. The detection areas in addition to the standard tables can be customized reaching dimensions of 300×200 cm.
MAIN FEATURES
- Save photos of the models detected in the JPEG, TIFF and BMP graphic formats;
- Allows you to create placements on the fabrics captured with the pieces captured, saving them in HPGL format;
- Export of digitized data in AAMA, HPGL and ISO DXF format;
- Sharing photos on the network including the original notes contained in the items;
- The photo of the original can be used as a reference for the modification of the captured forms;
- The system can be used as a large format scanner to store photos of finished items;
ADVANTAGES OF DAS
- DAS offers high profile detection accuracy;
- Reduction of digitization times thanks to the simultaneous detection of several items;
- It is not required to prepare the patterns and details for determining the points;
- Reduction of storage space: the patterns can be eliminated after the scan.
