ARC: Augmented Reality for Cutting Panels, Patterns, and Stripes, Even on Multiple Layers.
ARC: The Revolution of Cutting with Augmented Reality
Introduction to ARC
ARC, augmented reality for cutting panels, frames, and stripes, even on multiple layers. ARC is the combination of different known solutions that find their maximum functionality in the integration of CAD+CAMERA+NESTING+CAM.
The Meaning of ARC
ARC stands for Augmented Reality Camera, as the system is a set of optical cameras, supports, and DASforCut software that allow an operator to work in augmented reality.
Real-Time Precision and Control
By observing the actual design on the screen, the operator immediately decides the positions of the pieces. Each placement can be cut instantly because we are working directly on the real panel, not on a simulation.
Automation and Software Adaptability
If the files of the pieces to be cut, received from any CAD, do not contain all the necessary information for processing and require additional instructions, the DASforCut software can generate internal contours, notches, reference points, matching points, etc. All these indications are immediately available for the cutting process and, if necessary, can remain associated with that piece.
Precision and Automation in Textile Cutting
Once the pieces have been positioned by the professional on the screen where the actual fabric is located, they are all cut together, and these positions can be reused even as a simple reference for the next cut. A very advanced artificial intelligence process is in progress, allowing automatic placement even on patterns and panels during release.
With ARC, it is no longer necessary to print the pieces and place them on the fabric, thus avoiding a step with all the precision errors that paper material may cause.
ARC: Ultra-Fast and Autonomous Textile Cutting
ARC is a system that allows reducing one hour of work to 6-15 minutes, cutting time by 400% to 1000%.
Obviously, a file of the pieces to be cut is necessary, but such a file is not bound to any specific CAD. Moreover, in the case of very small patterns, the Vision Camera can zoom up to 50 times.
ARC does not violate customer privacy and does not require cloud services or remote access. Of course, the augmented reality systems and any artificial intelligence will be transferred and delivered to the customer upon purchase. For the same reason, the system is not subject to any mandatory maintenance or software update contract.
